Day 226: Dying

I started dying
the day I met you.
That’s when I started
to count the minutes
I had left.

Day 116: Would I Watch It?

Snap! A memory captured,
10 seconds of glory to share
Moments where reality is blurred,
And life is lived as I dare.

Filters to change all I can be,
Swap a face or set the dogs free
I can choose to be a better me
On this, we can all agree.

Watch my story unfold,
An entry to my world
24 hours of comedic gold
Watch me as I twirl.

Now I wonder when the stories go,
Lost to depths of the Internet’s soul,
Would I ever again want to watch this show
Or simply be happy that I had this role?

Snap! A memory gone,
Left only in my mind again,
A new beginning like the dawn,
The Even mistake is forgotten then.

AN: Inspired by a conversation with my friend Kajen on Snapchat and if we would want to see our old stories. I am not sure I would always want to see them.
