32/2017: Love Letters to My Heart

Hello dear heart,
I hope you keep growing,
remembering you are infinite in size
not limited by other’s perception
of your physical boundaries.

So, dear heart,
I know it hurts right now,
and all you want to do
is shrivel up and turn hard,
so that your softness won’t
cause you to bleed anymore.

But dear heart
I want you to know,
that the me that will be
is so grateful for your
forgiving ways and free-flowing tears,

Because dear heart,
your boundless love makes me wiser
your softness makes me stronger
and your heartful of pain makes me kind.

Dear heart,
you make me,
beautiful me.

  1. Dear Heart
Your strength lies in your fragility. You never give up, no matter how many times you are broken

    Couldn’t help writing that😊
    Beautiful, beautiful poem.
