Day 66: Teenage Years

Fraught with parental fears.

A sweet innocent babe no more,

She’s ready to show us the door,

In her corner we remain, waiting with cheers.

AN: Written for my niece, Shasha, who is turning 13 today. Am I ready for her brilliant mind to tackle teenage problems… probably not?
